SSRI Stories Page 27 I'm glad I found this site. I was starting to think I'm losing it. I can't
even type. I see the letters but they don't really make sense. I just increased
my dosage of Lexapro to 30 mg a day. I have been taking it for about 6 months
now. I can't think, can't write, nothing makes sense, no memory, disoriented, my
hands and arms hurt, no motivation, extreme anxiety I can't drive my car. I feel
like I'm in hell right now. I can't go to work I'm extremely emotional. My
writing probably doesn't make much sense. I can't concentrate I'm so confused. Have been on Lexapro for about a year & recently went for a cholesterol test - why I did I don't know! My numbers are all over the chart - I've had 5 blood tests in the last 2 weeks -my numbers keep changing - my white blood cells are low, then they're high, the liver function tests are up then they're down, HDL & LDL numbers are all over the place - the total cholesterol has gone up and down by about 50 points in 2 weeks! My hemoglobin has dropped from 16 to 10 in the 5 weeks. I've had sharp pointed headaches, weight gain, sinus, flu like symptoms, severe exhaustion, memory lapses - as in walking from the living room to the kitchen and forgetting why I've gone to the kitchen, irritability - shouting at co workers, my family, other drivers. Leg twitches, numbness etc., etc. I get home from work and I'm in bed by 8pm - on w/e I don't leave the house. Anyone else have the above symptoms? especially the results from the cholesterol & CBC tests? If you haven't already I would recommend getting these tests to monitor the effects. My dr has taken me off.
