SSRI Stories Page 26 I have been on Lexapro for 4 months now. I am 5 months postpartum. I had a sudden on-set of severe anxiety w/mild depression w/no appetite. I want to get off Lexapro b/c I have no sex drive at all. However, I am scared, with even decreasing the dose, became very dizzy and irritable. My MD told me if was not b/c of Lexapro change. I beg to differ. If I do get off this med, I may still need something for my anxiety etc. Not sure what to do. I started Lexapro 7 months ago because I was sick of taking Litobid. I've felt a lot better, but after reading your site...I realize it may be contributing to the 25+ lbs. I've gained (not to mention I was in a size 8...now a 12, going on 14!) I'll definitely be tapering off to see if the fat will too!
