SSRI Stories Page 2 I have been taking Lexapro for about 4 months now and it seems that I can barely focus on anything, I have headaches all the time, I feel very dizzy all the time like I'm going to just fall over, I have chest pains, and my heart rate went up at first then went back down. I am 20 yrs old, male and getting very tired of the "very few" side effects. =[ Thank God for web-sites like this, I was put on Lexapro for anxiety and depression as well, the first day really didn't notice anything, also given Xanax, which have taken before so I know the effects with that but put the two together, unreal! All these symptoms, that came rushing over me it seemed at one time brought on more anxiety than I had before. At one point I couldn't remember how I was getting from point A to point B. I had a wave of anxiety come over me in a meeting at work that not only scared me but my co-workers, I thought I was having a heart attack. I would lay in bed and cry. Not that I am proud of doing drugs in the past, but have experimented with Meth, at one time, and sorry but coming down off this medicine and using this medicine reminded me of days using the drug meth. This drug really needs to be researched deeper, no better yet get this crap off the market, and at no means given to anyone including children! I finally realized my depression and anxiety wasn't all that bad after taking this drug.
