Zoloft story:
I forgot to mention - severe night sweats, profuse sweating during the day,
'skipped heart beats' and bleeding from bowel.
Zoloft story:
Reading these stories has made me feel so much better. Have been on Zoloft for
18 months (started on 50mg then increased to 100mg) to treat panic attacks and
chronic fatigue. I have had more problems since I started taking Zoloft than
before. It did get rid of the panic attacks though. Side effects have been -
diarrhea, heart palpitations and 'flutters', itchy skin, dry throat - constant
cough from a tickle in my throat (Dr said it was hay fever). I have never had a
cough before that lasted 18 months!! Loss of sex drive, nausea. My eyes have
also gone strange - fuzzy lines sometimes - I even had a brain scan because I
thought I might have a tumor! Was thinking of having my heart checked too! The
worst of all - weight gain! The Dr told me it may put on weight but not to
worry about it. Putting on weight is something that I get depressed and anxious
about!! so that doesn't make any sense. Anyway,
I have been weaning myself off them now. Have been taking 50mg daily for 2
months - this is my first week of not taking any at all. I am feeling dizzy
throughout the day, heart flutters, feeling woozy and strange. Feels like tiny
electric shocks are in my hands, arms - it happens randomly through my body. I
am trying to ride with it as I don't want to go back on it.
